All four Gainsborough road cycling clubs battled it out in the annual interclub nine-mile race between Mortona nd East Butterwick.
Trent Valley, Phoenix, Aegir and Viking Velo were represented in the competition, which was split into two races.
The three overall fastest riders from each club and their combined total times formed one contest, and a separate race was based on a handicap system with once again the best three times from each club combined.
The fastest rider on the day was Viking Velo’s Julian Hesp who recorded 20.58 for the nine miles, just beating his fellow Viking Velo team mate Andy Lewin by the minimum margin of one second.
Third fastest rider on the day was Trent Valley’s Andy Codd in 21.35.
When the fastest three times from each club were combined, it proved to be Trent Valley who won through with a total time of 65.54 against Viking Velo’s 66.10.

The handicap race saw a reverse in fortunes, with Viking Velo merging victorious, beating Trent Valley into seconnd with Phoenix in third place.
