The Gainsborough and District Table Tennis Summer League played some end of season championships last week.
The individual comp was played up to the semis and Gary Adlington is to face Dave Brumpton and Paul Rodgers is to face Phil Dixon on finals night.
To reach this stage Brumpton had to overcome Barry Lamb in a tough quarter-final encounter as Rogers beat Jon Colley.
The Handicap, full of close games right up to the final, is to be decided between Phil Dixon and Ken Eliot.
Dixon had close encounters against Dave Shelley and Jacob Marshall during his path to the final, and Ken had to get the better of Steve Mason and Paul Rodgers.
The finals will take place today, Thursday 18th August, at the Ropery Road Liberal Club, 7.30pm start, commencing with the consolation singles and the draw doubles. Spectators are welcome.
