Marshalls’ take lion’s share

MARSHALLS were rewarded with 17 points for their performance at Burmah Road against Blidworth on Saturday, in the Bassetlaw Cricket Championship.

Rob Power’s knock of 84 and 55 runs from Mark Whitlam helped the home side to 258 for 9 – although they were hampered by Blidworth’s Dave Wilcock who took 6 for 72.

With the ball, Power took 3 for 54 and Darren Andrews took 3 for 63 as Marshalls gained a winning draw.
