GAINSBOROUGH Trinity held Ilkeston Town 0-0 at the New Manor Ground on Tuesday night.

Brian Little described his players' work ethic as 'first class', following the goalless draw.

The result lifts Little's team up one place to 16th and extends their safety cushion to six points.
