Trinity are beaten at Chorley

Gainsborough Trinity are still looking over their shoulders after a 3-1 defeat at Chorley on Saturday.

The result means Trinity are still only six points clear of the relegation zone and despite being seven places outside it, other teams could still overhaul them.

Kieran Charnock put Chorley ahead on ten minutes before Micah Evans netted their second in first-half stoppage time.

Nathan Jarman pulled one back for Dom Roma’s men but Darren Stephenson soon killed the game off with 11 minutes to go and Chorley claimed the points.
