Mixed start for the Blues

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity have had mixed fortunes in their start to the 2010/11 Blue Square Bet North League campaign.

Saturday's 2-1 win away at Worcester City was followed by a 3-1 defeat on the Northolme by Guiseley last night.

Brian Little told the Standard after the loss: "Although they were a little bit better than us on the day, I thought we ran them ragged in the last 20 minutes and really should have got something out of the game with the chances we created."

For match reports from both games, and Little's thoughts on the performances, see this week's Standard - out on Thursday.
