Misterton kids net funding

THE Misterton United Under 11s are celebrating after financial backing from a local politician.

County Councillor Liz Yates has made a donation to the club, for new goal posts and nets, the second time she has provided funding for the youngsters.

The club was formed three years ago, and now runs four mixed teams catering for seven to 11-year-olds, with a girls Under 14 side as well.

The Under 11s play in the nine-a-side Doncaster and District Junior Sunday Football League.
