Cherry in semi-final

Cherry Willingham played at home to Middle Rasen Drax in the last of the Bishop Norton Short Mat Bowls League Cup quarter-finals and won 62-29.

Elsham now meet Cherry Willingham in the two-leg semi-final on 22nd Feb at Cherry Willingham, then on 29th February at Elsham.

The semi-final between Middle Rasen Tupholme and Barnetby Red saw the latter win 40-34.

In the Southern Division Bishop Norton Green went down 6-4 at home to Glentham, Middle Rasen Tupholme beat Cherry Willingham 8-2 at home, Bishop Norton Yellow hosted Cherry Willingham and won a tight match 6-4 and Lea beat Reepham 8-2.

In the Northern Division, Barnetby Blue have been very active, first playing Elsham at home and winning 6-4, then playing Hibaldstow away and losing 8-2, and then losing 8-2 away to Scawby Blue.

Bottesford Brown won 8-2 at home to Hibaldstow, while Barnetby Red were in excellent form at home to Perry’s Gold on the day after they beat Middle Rasen Tupholme in the first semi-final leg and won 10-0.
