Breakers S surge to top of Division One

Only five games took place in Week 17 of the Worksop Snooker League’s Division One but some high class snooker was on show.

League leaders Breakers S regained top spot after producing a 4-0 victory over Harworth B.

The winning quartet for Breakers were Tom Lee, followed by Kev Seaman who won the second with a 47 break, and then John Bell and Graham Cliffe (31 break) completed a very good evening to claim all four points.

The win sees Breakers S go three points clear at the top, however Notts Arena can close the gap by winning their game in hand against Stanley Street G.

Meanwhile Breakers X beat Stanley Street D 3-1 away from home with wins from Guy Dennis, who constructed a lovely 43 break, Craig Frost and David Wheat.

Elsewhere Welbeck A were held at home 2-2 against struggling side Anston WMC who have only won one game all season.
