This gentleman really crossed the boundary on Saturday, when he streaked through a local cricket match.

The unknown wicket invader clearly needed extra cover, as he joined the action of Ordsall Bridon’s Notts Premier match with Welbeck.

Andy Legg, of hosts Ordsall, said the club were left in the corridor of uncertainty as to the identity of the streaker.

“We don’t know who he is, I haven’t seen him before,” he said.

“Perhaps he had a few beers, although it was a bit early for a few beers.”

Photographer Barrie Codling captured the moment, but played a straight bat with a mercifully tasteful shot.

It’s hoped the man in question will be a one day specialist, and not a regular at All Hallows Street in Ordsall.
