GAINSBOROUGH Trinity clinched three points on the opening day of the Blue Square Bet North season on the Northolme.
Visitors Solihull Moors were dispatched 3-1 by Brian Little’s men, despite Trinity conceding first on 11 minutes as Junior English netted.
Blues defender Gavin Cowan equalised three minutes after the break, then bagged his second 10 minutes later.
Darryn Stamp’s 91st minute marker kept the points in Lincolnshire.
