Gainsborough Trinity are indebted to their fans, after breaking the club’s season ticket record.
The Blues fans have snapped up 120 of the ‘pay what you like’ season tickets – and the club hope to shift some more before the start of the season, as they come close to doubling last season’s total.
Chairman Richard Kane expressed his gratitude to the supporters, whose financial input has meant Trinity are in better shape off the field, and better organised than in recent summers.
He said: “Sincere thanks to our supporters for getting behind the scheme.
“The early revenue has assisted with the planning of finances for the forthcoming season.”
