GAINSBOROUGH Trinity had the three points wrapped up before half-time on Saturday, as they beat Droylsden 3-0 on the Northolme.
The struggling Bloods side were a goal down after just seven minutes, Dominic Knowles finding the net.
Tricky winger Terry Hawkridge doubled the Blues’ lead, and Craig Nelthorpe made it 3-0 before the break to round off the scoring.
Victory put Trinity 11th in the Blue Square Bet North table, level on 15 points with Harrogate Town, Boston United and Bradford Park Avenue.
