The Blues Club eased through their Challenge Cup tie on Saturday, with an emphatic 6-0 victory at home to Lincoln Moorland Railway Reserves.
Lee Bognar netted two, taking his tally to to 12 for the season.
There was also one each from Graeme Burman, Leon Shepherd, his eighth of the season, Andy King and an own goal.
For the city side it was the second game in a row in which they have both failed to score and conceded six goals.
The Blues Club are without a fixture this weekend, but return to action with a Lincoln Saturday Football League clash at Horncastle Town Reserves on 15th November.
Horncastle sit one point and two places above the Gainsborough men, in second place in the table.
