GAINSBOROUGH Standard Sunday Football League Division Three leaders Real Ropery improved their position with a 6-3 victory over Rose and Crown, their sixth win of the season.
Ropery are two points in front of AFC Elm Cottage who have collected 17 points from seven games played so far.

Vine Inn United have established a four-point lead at the top of Division Two, their latest victory being 4-1 over White Lion who have yet to win a game.
Another team in this division without a win are Half Moon Willingham who came close as they went down 3-2 to Mattersey.
Before Sunday's game Friendship Old Boys had won their first three games and were playing really well, but against Crooked Billet their previous good form deserted them and they lost 3-2.
There were a large number of goals scored in Division Four with AFC Peacock and Friendship Over 35s reaching double figures against Ship Inn United and Mowbray Arms, respectively.

Ship FC gave a very creditable performance against local rivals MUSC but eventually went down 3-1.
In the Lincolnshire County Sunday Cup Round Three Friendship trounced Grimsby League Division Five side Tap and Spile 12-0, while White Hart United provided a tremendous result bating Spalding League Division One leaders Wheatsheaf and Cowbit 4-1.
The only team to fail were Gainsborough Trinity Supporters Club who found Magnet Tavern from Boston too much of a handful, losing 2-0.
