EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Gainsborough girl Faye Cranmer has been offered a place on the Lincoln City Girls Centre of Excellence programme.
The youngster will join City for the 2009/10 season, after she was put forward by her school, Corringham C of E Primary, to attend trials at the centre earlier this month.

Faye, pictured right by Gainsborough Standard photographer Chris Etchells, took part in a three-hour training course after which she received a letter from Richard Cooper, director of the centre, to tell her he was delighted to offer her a place.
