The forgotten part of town

I read the article regarding new stores in town with interest. I was born in Gainsborough and try to support the town as much as possible, and I hope more people will do the same.

I think the council could do more to support trade by keeping and increasing free parking. Also, Trinity Street needs better advertising and signage because it is a ‘forgotten’ part of the town. I was really pleased to see that another shop has opened there, which reflects that there is confidence returning but there is still a way to go. I visited the craft stalls last week and think the extra themed markets make a good addition to the existing ones. I know that not everything can be bought in town, but there is still an awful lot going for it.

The independent retailers offer a high level of customer service as well, so I for one will to continue support this town!
