Worksop: Star team award for Bassetlaw Hospital staff

The team were chosen for the prize by a pnel of staff from Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust after being nominated by Matron Cindy Storer.

She said: “I am proud to say I am the manager of such a nice team of staff who have all contributed towards a transformation in culture and the delivery of high standards of care to our patients and their relatives.”

She added: “Special thanks go to ward manager Tracy Lodge and junior sister Marianne Barker who have formed a fantastic team.

“Patients and visitors have commented the ward is friendly, well informed and welcoming.”

Tracy Lodge said: “All the team are honoured to have received this awared.

“It is nice to be recognised for our hard work and we thank matron for nominating us.”

The ward was presented with a certificate and a hamper of treats for their award win.
