A specialist Worksop recruitment agency is aiming to create new jobs and grow its business by 30 per cent in 2016 after a record breaking year.

Provide Education, based in Worksop, works with around 2,200 teachers helping them to find supply teaching posts and sometimes permanent jobs in hundreds of schools across the region.

The company, established in 2007, saw its turnover increase by 75 per cent in 2015 - and in November it placed a record number of teachers in to classrooms.

Director and co-founder of Provide Education Barry Simmons said: “Following year on year growth for nine years, our workload increased phenomenally in 2015. We took more than 500 calls to get teachers in to classrooms and provide vital cover for lessons in November – and that made it our busiest month ever.

“We can only see our business growing again as we enter our tenth year because we are working with more and more schools across Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

“And this next term is traditionally the busiest time of year too, as schools prepare for tests and exams and need extra teaching support. We look forward to expanding again to meet demand.”
