Worksop: Police warning after spate of car windows smashed by thieves

A wallet was stolen from a car parked on South Parade in Worksop at some point between midday on Saturday, 12th April and 10.30am on Sunday, 13th April after the driver’s side window was smashed.

Two incidents occurred on Sandhill Street in Worksop where the rear windows of cars were smashed.

In the first incident, a woman’s handbag was stolen, while in the second, two suitcases containing women’s clothing were taken.

Both incidents occurred between 6.30pm on Saturday, 12th April and 10.30am on Sunday, 13th April.

Another handbag was stolen after thieves smashed the driver’s side window of a car on Grafton Street in Worksop around 10.20pm on Sunday, 13th April.

The thief was then seen running away towards Sandy Lane.

Another car window was smashed on a vehicle parked at Shireoaks Marina on Monday, 14th April at around 3am but the offenders were disturbed and ran off before any of the vehicles’s contents were taken.

And on Doncaster Road in Langold, a car had its rear windscreen smashed when someone threw a brick through it.

The incident occurred between 3am and 8am on the morning of Sunday, 13th April.
