Worksop: Police investigate ‘brazen’ caravan theft

The beige and green Elddis Hurricane towable mobile home was stolen between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Monday 10th March.

A group of men hooked it to a vehicle and waved down traffic as they reversed it off the driveway.

PC George Watson of Notts Police said: “This was a brazen theft in which the offenders weren’t shy in exploiting the kindness of strangers to steal the caravan.”

“Doncaster Road is a very busy carriageway with a constant flow of traffic at this time of day.”

“Do you remember stopping for the men? Did you see the vehicle they were using the tow the caravan? If you have any information call us.”
