Worksop: Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist hit by car on A57

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured after being struck by a car on the A57 in Worksop.

The cyclist was airlifted to hospital after the collision which happened on the A57 roundabout near Sainsbury’s on High Grounds Road at around noon on Sunday 7th June.

The cyclist’s injuries were not serious in nature and he has since been released from hospital.

The driver of the car initially stopped at the scene but then left without leaving his details.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
