Worksop: Long-term Lion honoured to lead club into landmark year

After 30 years of service to Lions International, Bill Maddison has been handed over the Chain of Office at the Worksop branch as it prepares to celebrate its own landmark year.

Maddison, who started out at Rotherham’s branch, has been at Worksop for 25 years and is charged with the task of leading the club into its 50th year of serving the local community and its people.

Speaking after the hand over, Bill said: “It’s an honour to be handed the Chain of Office ahead of such a big year.”
