Worksop: First meeting of newly formed breakfast club is success

The newly formed Worksop Breakfast Club held its first meeting on Saturday.

The gathering for serving and former servicemen and women took place at Yates’, on Victoria Square at 10am.

The weekly group was launched by Worksop man Simon Tierney, who was in the royal engineers for 21 years.

Simon said: “It is a place for like-minded veterans of all services to get together once a week and have a breakfast.”
