A lightbulb retailer is searching for the best indoor gardens in Worksop.

Whether you’re a budding gardener, flower fiend or someone who simply likes pottering with plants, this is your chance to show off your gardening skills.

LightBulbs Direct is urging anyone in the town who fancies themselves as a keen urban gardener to get in touch.

To enter, share a photo of your indoor garden to the Facebook photo app (http://bit.ly/1GcjrJm) or tweet a pic @lightbulbsd using the hashtag #BulbsForBulbs.

After narrowing the entries down to 10 finalists, LightBulbs Direct will then invite people to help pick the best photo by ‘liking’ and commenting on the photos. The winner will receive a luxury hamper full of gardening goodies.

Tom Pratt, general manager at LightBulbs Direct, said: “We know that LED lighting is proven to actively help plants and fruits to grow – strawberries can have their juiciness bolstered by up to 15 per cent if the correct type of LED is used – so we thought it might be fun to check out some of the nation’s indoor gardens and help the best one to grow with some specially selected LED bulbs!”
