Staff from Jacksons Workwear Rental have raised £4,000 for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice through a series of fund-raisers held last year.

For the second consecutive year the hospice was chosen as the company’s charity of the year bringing their overall donation to £8,475.

Steve Pearce, general manager at Jacksons, said: “Many of us have experienced first-hand the devastation that a life-limiting illness can cause and we have been touched by the loss of someone we love.

“Fund-raising provided us with the opportunity to make a difference and was a huge boost for our team morale.”

Veronica Brien, head of fund-raising and marketing at St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, added: “It is so humbling to witness the generosity of such a dedicated workforce.

“They have all worked incredibly hard to raise this fantastic amount of money which equates to a month’s care in a patient’s own home.

“It is only through the support of our local community that we are able to continue caring for patients in Lincolnshire.”
