IMPROVEMENTS to the exterior of Lea Village Hall having begun after raising £40,000.
The money raised will ensure the improvement of much of the outside area, with a focus on drainage and resurfacing.
The main funders are WREN, and Lincolnshire County Council with West Lindsey District Council who between them have promised over half the money. Lea Village Hall treasurer May Greenaway said: “Many Lea villagers have responded magnificently to an appeal for financial help with over 70 generous donations towards the project.”
“I would like to mention our own management committee, who have all in so many different ways contributed towards and supported this project.”
