BE dazzled by dangling acrobats and dare-devil tricks as Cirque Du Ciel bring their ShangHi show to the Palace Theatre, Newark - direct from China.

Over 30 amazingly multi-skilled performers will transfix the audience for over two hours in this aerial and acrobatic extravaganza.

The dare devil tricks and incredible dances are set to a fantastic score of live music.

Originally directed by Cirque du Soliel’s Guy Caron, this show brings the best aspects of traditional and modern Chinese performances.

With over 500 superb costumes, intricate scenery and fantastic lighting, this stunning production includes dazzling diablo, the terrifying yet beautiful aerial silks, and the famous death defying Chinese Monkey Poles, which in all is a dizzying mix of balancing, tumbling, spinning and brilliant live drumming.

‘ShangHi’ also features a fabulous and entrancing storyline, which is captivating and enthralling audiences across the globe.

Cirque Du Ciel is at the Palace Theatre on Sunday 23rd September at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £22.50 / £21 concessions in the stalls, £19.50 / £18 concessions in the circle or £72 for a family ticket which admits two adults, two children or one adult, three children.

• Cirque Du Ciel is just one highlight of the forthcoming autumn season at the Palace Theatre, Newark.

The Theatre will welcome the Comedy Cafe Theatre On The Road, featuring Sean Hughes on 15th September, Andy Abraham’s History of the Big Bands on 27th September, Alan Davies on 12th October and An Evening With Derek Acorah on 19th October amongst many others.

The season concludes with Beauty And The Beast, in association with Paul Holman Associates, as the Theatre’s 2012 pantomime.
