A brand new bus that will connect people and places in the Barton and Ferry ward will visit six villages on Thursday and Friday May 19-20.
Local residents are invited to see the bus and register free to use it prior to it launching a few days later.
Unlike normal buses, this new minibus will pick you up at a time to suit you!
This innovative approach is brand new for the Barton and Ferry area and will greatly improve public transport for many.
Called Call Connect, the new bus will connect buses to trains, flights and other buses and will provide a lifeline for many.
There is no minimum number of users; so long as you have booked, the bus will pick you up!
Concessionary fare passes are accepted on the CallConnect buses.

Councillor David Wells, lead member for Public Transport at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “This is a fantastic service and worthwhile investment that will enable lots of people to get out and about, effectively providing a lifeline to many.
“You can use the new bus to go to the dentist, doctors, shops, leisure centre, tourist attractions, friends or relatives, to get to Humberside Airport if you are going on holiday, to go the seaside, catch a train and much more. You can also use the bus to connect to other buses so you can travel even further.
“The way it works is simple. You register which is free and once you’ve registered, you can use the bus to travel to a whole range of great locations. You can book by telephone or online on the day you wish to travel or up to seven days in advance.
“The beauty of this new flexible service is that there is no set route and no set times like a normal bus service. Anyone can use the bus – it operates between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm Saturdays.
“We hope to see lots of people at our roadshows where they will be able to register to use the new service and talk to those involved in setting it up. The bus will be there, so you can also take a look inside.”
