A BLYTON man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a car accident.

The 31-year-old’s Nissan Micra collided with a Citroen C5 at 8.36am on Tuesday 11th October on the B1205, near Kirton In Lindsey, Gainsborough.

The driver of the Citroen, a 26 year-old man from the Boston area, was also airlifted to Lincoln County Hospital.

The road was closed until late afternoon and both men were taken to hospital by Air Ambulance where they are said to be a stable but serious condition.
