Torksey: Former Sheffield United player has been jailed for dangerous driving

Former Sheffield Uniter player, Marlon King, has been jailed for 18 months for dangerous driving after a three-car crash left a man with a fractured elbow.

Marlon King, who lives in Torksey, Lincolnshire, was driving a Porsche on the A46 near Newark in Notts when the crash happened in April last year.

The 35-year-old victim was airlifted to hospital after the collision.

King, whose previous clubs also include Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Watford, Wigan, Coventry City, Hull City, Leeds United and Middlesbrough, pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving at an earlier hearing at Nottingham Crown Court.

He has also been banned from driving for three years.
