Ferrets were stolen from Burns Road in Kilton, Worksop

SIX BELOVED pet ferrets have been stolen from a house in the Kilton area of Worksop.

The furry animals were taken from Burns Road between the evening of Friday 17th and the morning of Saturday 18th February.

Owner Liam Somers said that he and his partner were ‘devastated’ as the creatures were ‘like part of the family’.

“They are our pets, so naturally, they are very treasured to us,” he said. “We are absolutely gutted.”

“They aren’t very valuable - we’re just upset because they mean so much to us.”

Liam continued: “If anyone know where they are then please contact me with any information - I’m willing to offer a substantial reward to anyone who can tell us something that gets them back.”

“I’m not bothered about anyone getting into trouble - we just want our pets back.”

There were six ferrets stolen in total - four female and two male.

Of the females, three were of the pole-cat breed and one was albino.

Both males were castrated, and one was an albino while the other was an unusual light pole-cat with ruby-red eyes.

Anyone with information can contact Liam by calling 07540199390.
