Simple Minds head to Lincs

Simple Minds

Simple Minds

LOOKING ahead to the new year and some big names are heading to Lincolnshire - including Simple Minds.

The legendary Scottish rockers rose to fame in the 1980s to the early 1990s but have continued to tour to a cult following up to this very day.

The band produced a number of critically acclaimed albums in the early 80s and are best known for their number one hit single Don’t You (Forget About Me), from the soundtrack of the John Hughes film The Breakfast Club.

They also gained popularity with hit singles Alive and Kicking and Belfast Child, along with Let There Be Love, She’s A River and many more.

While the band are working on a brand new album for 2013, Simple Minds will be rolling into Lincoln in April to treat fans to a wide selection of their greatest hits.

Simple Minds play The Engine Shed, Lincoln, on Thursday 11th April 2013.

Tickets are £37.50 and are available by calling 0844 888 8766.

You can also book online by visiting www.engineshed.co.uk.
