Householders who signed up to join the Notts Switch ‘n’ Save offer can look forward to an average saving of £100 on their gas and electricity bills.

Customers using prepayment meters can will make an even bigger average saving on their bills of £125.

The Switch ’n’ Save money saving offer has been extended for a further four weeks, until Friday 26th April, to give more people the opportunity to sign up to cut their fuel bills.

More than 3,800 households joined the scheme, a partnership between Notts County Council, the seven local district councils and consumer organisation Which? to help people secure a better deal on their gas and electricity prices.

To join the Switch ‘n’ Save offer, register online by 26th April at www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/switchnsave, call 0300 500 80 80 or visit one of the county council’s 10 customer service points.
