Gainsborough Amateur Operatic Society is looking for new members to join their ranks for their forthcoming show Me and My Girl.

The show will be performed at the Trinity Arts Centre 24th -28th April and promises to be a hit with audiences once again.

GAOS have been entertaining Gainsborough audiences for over 100 years - and now is your opportunity to get involved in the historic and acclaimed theatre group.

A GAOS spokesperson said that while all principle roles have been cast, more members are needed to fill small roles, as well as singing and dancing in the chorus.

“We are looking for both men and women over the age of 14 to join the society,” said Vicky Toward from GAOS.

“Me and My Girl is a very light-hearted, fun, comedy show, jam packed with well-known songs including The Sun Has Got His Hat On, Lambeth Walk, Leaning On A Lamppost and of course, the title song.”

Vicky added: “If you would like to come and join the society, then please get in touch or some along to a rehearsal.
