A MYSTERIOUS canine illness has struck again in Clumber Park.

A Worksop couple were walking their two beloved Cocker Spaniels through the popular woodland hours before the older one of the dogs, Wilson, became sick.

The owners rushed him to the vets where he was treated and kept in over night as a precaution.

A dog died in Clumber Park and a further five dogs fell ill across the county in 2010.

Seasonal Canine Illness (SCI), which shows signs of vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy, has also affected dogs at Sherwood Forest before.
