Saxilby crash caused delays

A CRASH on a Saxilby Road caused hours of disruption.

Police were called to a head-on collision between two cars at the mini roundabout on Saxilby Road, Odder near to the Burton Waters health club and marina at around 6.50am on Wednesday 19th January.

One vehicle was a blue Rover 214, while the other vehicle was a silver Peugeot 206.

Both drivers were Saxilby men, and one of them was elderly, aged 84.

They were both taken to Lincoln County Hospital, one with neck and chest injuries, and the other with head injuries.

Traffic was backing up along the road following the incident, and caused heavy traffic disruption.
