Having just celebrated its 91st anniversary, The Royal British Legion Gainsborough Branch will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday 21st July.

The meeting will start at 1.30 pm at The United Services Club, Bridge Street, Gainsborough when preparations will start for this year’s Poppy Appeal.

Membership is open to all adults, not just members or ex-members of the forces and new members are always welcomed.

A Legion spokesman said: If you have an interest in the objectives of the Legion and want to help and support those who have served and their families, come and join us. We are also seeking further helpers for our November Poppy Appeal.”
