Notts: County council chairman’s delight at the Royal baby

The chairman of Notts County Council has expressed his delight at the announcement of the new addition to the Royal household.

Councillor John Allin is writing to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to congratulate them on the birth of their baby boy.

Coun Allin said: “On behalf of the residents of Notts, I would like to congratulate the Duke and Duchess on the birth of their first child.”

“Just like the rest of the nation, we have been eagerly anticipating news from St Mary’s Hospital and we are absolutely thrilled about the birth of our future King.”

“I am sure that William and Kate will make fantastic parents and we look forward to welcoming them and their new son to Nottinghamshire in the years to come.”
