Hospital governors hold first open surgery
Governors representing Bassetlaw residents will hold their first open surgery on Tuesday 1st April from 2pm to 4pm in the main entrance at Bassetlaw Hospital. This is a chance for governors to get feedback from patients and visitors, and for them to find out more about what governors do. There are five governors elected by trust members living in Bassetlaw, each for a three-year term; in addition, one governor is nominated by Bassetlaw District Council. The idea for the open surgery came from Misterton’s Hazel Brand, who was elected a hospital governor in 2013.
