Shoppers Worksop’s Priory Shopping Centre will be entertained by the Salvation Army Brass Band on Saturday.

The centre will also continue to host its Santa’s gotto, which will open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday and the following weekend, as well as from 2pm to 6.30pm on 18th December.

The musical entertainment will continue on Christmas Eve when the Priory School choir will be performing.

Lynette Bray, centre manager, said: “The festive period kicked off at the Priory on Saturday 23rd November when we held the Christmas light switch on. The event proved to be incredibly popular and we had our greatest footfall on record with 13,000 people attending.”

“We know that the final push before Christmas can be very hectic so we are trying to make a trip to the Priory as pleasant and stress free as possible so have arranged for musical entertainment throughout this busy time to add to the festive spirit.”

The Salvation Army Brass Band will return on Saturday 21st December.
