AN Olympic-themed charity baton came to Worksop’s 02 store as part of a national drive to raise £100,000 for the company’s youth charity Think Big.

Staff at the Bridge Street shop donned fancy dress and took part in a 38-mile stationary bike ride - raising £141.

Store manager Dale Clark thanked everyone who supported the fundraising day.

“It went very well - thanks to everyone who came in and sponsored us,” he said.

“We hope to hold another fundraising event in October.”

The baton, which left Ireland in August, will travel across 116 stores before arriving at the 02 Arena in London on 26th October.
