Busy shoppers flocking to Worksop will now be able to take advantage of a new re-branded shop in the town centre.

Clintons store, based on 20 Bridge Street, opened it’s doors on Friday 16th May.

The shop has been redesigned removing the previous orange branding and replacing it with the new Clintons name and red logo and features updates fixtures and fittings.

Shirley Mottershead, manager of the Worksop store, said: “Every day is a special day for someone in Worksop and we have a wide range of gifts and cards that mark any occasion.”

“Our research tells us that we all instinctively appreciate the time and thought that goes into a choosing a card, a personalised greeting, the sound of a card landing on the doormat and the joy of opening something by hand - this greatly exceeds the impact of a text, tweet, email or ecard.”

The shop will sell a selection of greetings cards along with a wide range of gifts, balloons, soft toys and party packs.

It will stock a wide range of new products, in particular within gifting - from Yankee candles, Willow Tree and Disney products.

Clintons has 391 stores in the UK and sells more than two billion greetings cards each year.

The opening of a new will be a welcome relief for bargain hunters in Worksop who regularly visit the town centre.

The early months of 2014 has already seen the closure of Heart to Heart photographic studio and Model Base.

The Co-Operative Bank which was located on Potter Street has also been left empty in recent week’s.
