UPDATE: Police release victim details after fatal Ranby collision as part of witness appeal

Two men and a woman died following a collision which happened at about 11.15pm yesterday (Sunday 20th July).

Two people were travelling in a Peugeot 206 on the northbound carriageway when it was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra, also containing two people, driving on the southbound carriageway.

A tarpaulin, similar to those used for domestic trailers, has been recovered and crash investigators are urging anyone who may have lost an item like this, or anyone who may have seen a vehicle lose and item like this, to contact police.

One man was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre with minor injuries.
