Local artist Angela Larry is currently holding her first ever exhibition at Bassetlaw Museum in Retford.
Searching is an exhibition of acrylic and mixed media paintings and features artworks depicting landscapes, wildlife and abstract art inspired by Eastern philosophy.
As a child Angela loved to draw and paint.
She taught herself to draw by copying cartoons, which she enjoyed the most, but on leaving school she left this behind, doing nothing very much with it.
However, in 2009 she took up art again in a more serious way, at first using it as kind of meditation to relax.
Now, she is putting on her first ever exhibition, the first of many she hopes.
Searching is on at Bassetlaw Museum until Saturday, 1st March.
