Nottinghamshire County Council is backing a national initiative against homophobic bullying and wants residents to show their support for the campaign.

An estimated 75,000 young people will be bullied this year because they are gay and 21,000 will attempt suicide.

Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual charity, Stonewall has launched No Bystanders, its annual campaign to raise awareness about bullying of children and young people.

The campaign encourages people not to be bystanders if they hear abusive language. Go to http://nobystanders.org.uk/

WJAT DO YOU THINK: Have you been a victim of this type of bullying or seen it happen to someone else?
