Misterton junior footballers are community champions
Misterton Junior FC was nominated the Co-op's community champion for three months from December 2015 and picked up a cheque for £983 from store staff '“ the most raised locally through the community champion scheme.
The Co-op makes a donation every time a member uses their dividend card when shopping.
Donations to the community fund also come from the sale of five pence carrier bags.
The donation will be used to buy new kit for the under-sevens team.
