It’s the summer holidays, so treat a child (or yourself) to a frothy flavoured milk shake for free at a welcoming Epworth venue.

Lynne Richardson of CJ’s Milkshack in Mayfair Court, off Chapel Street, will give a delicious free milk shake to anyone who presents a filled-in coupon from this week’s Epworth Bells (out July 31), and the offer lasts until August 6.

The modern, light and bright milk bar is a favourite haunt of teenagers, young parents and children, or older people who visit to enjoy the affordable variety of snacks and drinks.

Milk shakes are made with Blyton ice-cream and speciality flavours are introduced regularly. So along with vanilla, banana and butterscotch, there is bubblegum, tutti-frutti, chocolate brownie and special seasonal choices...

Lynne’s great offer of a free milk shake, worth two pounds, is in any flavour from her range, with a topping of your choice.

Lynne has thought of everything at CJ’s Milkshack so expect free wi-fi, play equipment for the children, an X-box, a retro arcade machine and a comfy seats area. There are proper baby-changing facilities, and tucked away as it is in a quiet corner of Epworth, there is no fear of young children dashing out from the milk bar in to passing traffic.

Typical snacks in CJ’s Milkshack include pancakes, waffles and hot dogs, paninis and wraps, some of which are gluten-free, omelettes, muffins, rocky road cakes and much more.

And along with the cool milk shakes are the flavoured coffees with vanilla, hazelnut or caramel for starters. There is decaffeinated or fruit and herbal tea, green tea, sugar-free pops and juices and a myriad of other choices.

The Milkshack is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
