King Charles and Cavendish will do battle at Bolsiover Castle this May Day bank holiday

This May Day Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday 4th and Monday 5th May) English Heritage will be stepping back 370 years to the English Civil War and the Siege of Bolsover Castle, with plenty of action as the Cavaliers go into combat with the Roundheads.

The Main Arena will have smoked-filled battle displays as the outer walls of the castle are attacked with sword, musket and pike.

Entry is free for members, £9.50 for adults (£8.60 concessions) and £5.70 for children, while a family ticket is £24.70.
