Attacker punched woman in the face after knocking on her front door

Lincs Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman was assaulted in Blyton.

At around 11pm on Monday, May 9, a woman, aged in her 60s, was in a property in St Martins Close when there was a knock at the door.

She opened the door and was punched in the face, which caused bruising and swelling.

The offender, who ran off following the incident, is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in in height, aged in his mid to late twenties, of slim build and wearing a light grey hooded top with the hood up.
